Which was your best holiday?I love the camaraderie fresh air and beautiful scenery of skiing and I’ll never forget the incredible feeling of standing on top of the mountain on my first skiing holiday to Les Arcs and feeling like I was on top of the world. I’ve had some marvellous moonlit moments on the slopes too. And the best hotel you’ve stayed in?The Banyan Tree in Phuket was incredibly peaceful. I stayed in a two-bedroom villa with the biggest double bed I’ve ever slept in. You could literally almost dive off it in the morning straight into your own personal pool. The service was exceptional too and one evening at the restaurant overlooking the lagoon the staff had arranged this display of candles and petals just as the sun was setting which spelt out ”Welcome Elaine” which was absolutely extraordinary.

Ridgeway explained she negotiates on Canada’s behalf at the international level and is required to travel extensively to promote and advance Canada’s position on fisheries and oceans. Stoffer says he will be asking Ridgeway to supply reports or evidence of “concrete” results that show Canada actually benefited from her travel.
